This book captured me and sucked me right in from the first chapter! I love a book that’s mixed with magic, romance, suspense and science fiction. Linze Brandon has an imagination that is truly magical. She has a way of writing that made me feel like I was one of the charactors, and I never wanted it to end. I pretty much sighed when I got to the last page! I had a hard time putting this book down.

Elizabeth l’Emery was struck with tragedy when she finds out her dear Uncle has been murdered. Unfortunately it appears that someone she had trusted and was bonded to maybe involved. Her life as she knows it changes very quickly. She is now the new owner and Chief Executive of the largest fabric manufacturer Co, in Xa’an, that her uncle once owned. Whomever is responsible for her Uncle’s murder murder is now looking for her. She has body guards that have special magical powers watching her twenty four seven, her cousins have stepped in to watch over her.
She also has someone very special from school there protecting her. This is where we meet the mysterious, sexy magician Randall Storm. They have an attraction that should be illegal! Elizabeth is drawn to him and she is experiencing emotions, passions that she’s never felt. Randall never wanted to remove himself from Elizabeth’s life, but he has secrets and a side of him that is deadly. Because of this they both need to be careful, her Dragon mare and his lust for blood, passion from his dragon side can become deadly to each other.
Threats continue Elizabeth’s life and all of those around her. Someone is desperately trying to pull her apart from her loved ones! She and Randall search for anyway to control his magic and his blood thirsty dragon side. Elizabeth finds herself faced with a very important decision, will she accept the weapon of immense power that will bring extreme violence of a blood ritual? Is the blood shed and death worth everything to become the only keeper of The Dragon Sword? Will she loose all of those she loves in the process?
I highly recommend this book, and I hope to see a sequel real soon!
Linzé Brandon is the pen name of a South African engineer and project manager who taught herself to read before she went to school. She started writing in a time period of her life when she was self-employed as an export consultant, and had much better time management skills. Focusing on writing what she loves to read, fantasy and paranormal romance, she does dabble in SF, erotica and erotic romance when writing short stories.
